FREE AIRPORT TRANSFER Avalon is part of the Stansted Lodge group. Avalon is approximately 7 minutes from Stansted Airport. We provide free tranfers from 4am in the morning, and pick up until 10pm in the evening. Last phone call for the pick up has to made until 9.45 pm. Stansted Airport Parking Fee (Pick up) Customers requesting an airport pick up will be responsible for the Stansted Airport parking fee. This fee will be charged with bookings made after 10th September 2009. Pick ups from Elsenham train station remains without extra charge. Guests should contact us or arrive by 18:00 on the day of their reservation in order to guarantee room. Balance payment is in GBP in cash on arrival, card payment £3 applies. Avalon is located in the lovely village of Elsenham approximately 7 minutes drive from Stansted Airport. We are about 1 mile due north as the crow flies. We pride ourselves on providing clean, secure and warm rooms, with an even warmer, friendly service. We provide free tranfers from 4am in the morning, and pick up until 10pm in the evening. Guests leaving prior to 7 am will have our 'take away' breakfast, after 7 we provide a continental style self serve breakfast. Our guesthouse is close to a great village pub (The Crown) who provide a fantastic menu from locally sourced produce at reasonable prices. All rooms have a television, tea and coffee facilities and an alarm clock (towels supplied). Hair dryer, iron and ironing board are also available on request. We are not on any flight paths, so no planes overhead. Opening hours from 16:00, vacate by 11:00. Last Checkin 23:00 - if arriving after 18:00 you must contact us in order to hold you reservation. Laundry facilities available. Child bed or baby cot available. Wireless internet access available (Free of Charge). We are close to Elsenham train station (walking distance) which gives direct access to London Liverpool Street or Cambridge. Balance payment is in GBP in cash on arrival, card payment 3% applies. Blatches farm is a family run bed and breakfast. The farm is located in the middle of the Essex countryside yet only about seven miles from Stansted airport. We offer comfortable accommodation in a relaxed environment. The farm is an ideal location for business trips or pleasure with the Flitch way passing the back of the farm with no need to go on yhe road for walks or cycling. We have our own fishing pond stocked with carp, roach, chub and perch for our guests to enjoy, either fishing or feeding the fish. The area offers various attractions for all ages, with local market towns like Great Dunmow (famous for its flitch trials), Thaxted and Saffron Walden. Or go shopping at Freeport Designer shopping village, or a trip to Colchester zoo. There are plenty of restaurants and pubs in the various villages of Felsted, Little Dunmow and Stebbing and all within two miles of the farm.
The Cherry Tree is a friendly, welcoming early 19th century pub located in Stambridge on the outskirts of the old market town of Rochford in Essex. The Cherry has recently added 4 double rooms, all furnished to the highest standard. All rooms are en-suite with flat screen colour television, shaver point, tea/coffee making facilities, radio alarm clock and hair dryer and wireless Internet access. One of the rooms has been designed for wheelchair access. Breakfast and other meals required are taken in The Cherry Tree. Our recently refurbished restaurant is ideal for either a light lunch or special evening meal, meals can also be taken in the pub itself.

Stansted Guest House Opens at 16.00 & Closes at 23.00 (Access can not be gained outside of these times),we are the closest off site accommodation, only 1 km from the airport terminal, 3 minutes by car and 15 minutes on foot, rooms available including free airport transfers .hourly from 16:00 - 23:00 and 06:00 - 10:00 . Overnight parking is free If your room excludes transfers : Transfers available at £4 per room per Journey (excluding Thursday), hourly from 16:00 - 23:00 and 08:00 - 10:00 . BREAKFAST:The guest house offers a self-service breakfast, which is available from 06:00. This includes toast with a selection of jams and marmalade, cereal, orange juice, tea and coffee and costs GBP 3 per person, please email direct to order your breakfast.****** TRANSFER EXCEPTIONS:Transfers are available only in the morning on the 24 and 31 December.
